Hi there! My name is Jack. I am a videographer/photographer based in Tulsa. I have been a visual person since I was young and I think that is what attracted me to this art. I remember playing with toys as a kid and trying to frame out in my eye what the shot would look like on film.

I am especially attracted to documentary style filmmaking. Stylistically I like when moments can feel unpredictable, unplanned, and closer to the reality of the moment. Do I set up certain shots? Yes. But I also like to let little moments shine through.

Beyond my bread and butter of weddings, artists, and portraits, I’m a full-on creative nerd in everyday life. From gaming and Bridgerton-themed comedy shows to figure photography, I’m always finding new ways to experiment with visual storytelling— even in unexpected places like video games and live performance. Recently, I had the honor of being published in Game Informer, where I explored the history and evolution of photo mode in games. You can read that feature here.
